I hacked with a local riding school on the Isle of Wight as a child. When I was 11, there was a liberating summer looking after a pony. Just the two of us, we explored the woods and bridleways. I returned to riding in my 30s, proper schooling, flat work and jumping at Mill Hill for about 9 years. Volunteering for the RDA at #leevalley was my way back and I have been riding there for 8 years. Here’s a pic of me on the sadly missed Inis. 🐴
