Riding Abilities Guidance

Please see our riding abilities guidance below:

Beginner - walk trot and canter with stirrups proficient on a suitable school horse in an area.

Novice - as above but can ride with and without stirrups, also safe on a very quiet hack on a quiet horse.

​

Intermediate - as novice but also proficient controlling a horse on a fast hack and over a small course of jumps under 70cm.

​

Advanced - capable of riding any horse given and jump a course over 70cm.
